Privacy Policy
Plain-English summary of how EMP² handles your personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are (data controller)
EMP² ("we") operates this training platform. For any question about your personal data, contact us at empower.partner.info@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
- Newsletter signup: your email address, the page you signed up from, and the date.
- Account: email address, display name, and encrypted password (managed by Supabase Auth).
- Training activity: quiz answers, scores, streaks and XP — linked to your account, used to show your history and leaderboard position.
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
3. Why we process it (legal basis)
- Consent — sending you the free weekly questions you signed up for. You can withdraw consent at any time (unsubscribe link or reply to any email).
- Contract — providing the training app and your purchased licence.
- Legitimate interest — securing the service and preventing abuse.
4. Where your data lives (processors)
We use a small number of processors, each bound by GDPR data-processing agreements: Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email) and Stripe (payments). We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Cookies & local storage
We only use what is strictly necessary to run the service: an authentication token (to keep you signed in) and local storage on your device for your training progress. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used, which is why no cookie banner is required.
6. How long we keep it
Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe. Account and training data: as long as your account exists, then deleted. Payment records: as long as legally required for accounting purposes.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can at any time request access to, correction or deletion of your data, ask for portability, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Email empower.partner.info@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
8. Updates
We may update this policy as the service evolves; the latest version always lives at this address. Last updated: 10 June 2026.
